  Not the atmosphere one would expect for a Japanese steakhouse. There were only three other customers there when we arrived around 7:30 and no one came in after we did. The server didn't speak English and thought we wanted water when we asked about wine. The cook took at least 20 minutes to come out and did not look like a chef of any sorts. He apologized for the loud fan on the vent hood when he turned it on and said the others were quite. So that left me wondering why we were sat at that table! The food was cooked with an extreme amount of liquid butter and oil and left the food with an unpleasant taste. Finally, the men's bathroom had a very unusual smell. The whole experience was unpleasant, especially for a $75 ticket for two, not counting the tip. I will give them credit for the food looking fresh before it was cooked.

  We have been going ton Shogun for 15 years , consistently good. Food is fresh, homemade and you can talk to your chef and request any special dietary requirements, including light seasoning etc. Staff and manager are very friendly. I recommend.

  This was a horrible place.
  We made reservations of 24 and when we got there we didn't even get to sit down we had to wait 45 minutes and then when we FINALLY got to sit down we waited ANOTHER hour and a half!
  The restrooms were so messy!!! The entire restaurant was MESSY I don't honestly know how this place stays open I could not believe how dirty the place was and to make things WORSE we paid a $100 for our bill! No discounts for the wait!!!
  
  I would never recommend this place to anyone. This was on a Saturday and we were celebrating my sisnlaw getting her MBA!!!! Horrible man
